Helping Believers Worship
In Spirit and in Truth
The worship at Perry is best described as traditional.  We realize that the word traditional might have some “dull” connotations for some people, but don’t worry, you will not be bored. Careful consideration is taken to provide the most dynamic, spirit filed experience possible for every individual and family.  Pastor Scott takes the time to sit down each Sunday morning and talk to the children during Children’s Moments.  We take time to pray; to lift our concerns and our needs to God, and to take the time to listen to the Holy Spirit.  Most worship services incorporate visual aids.

Although we offer printed bulletins, every part of the service is digitally projected for ease of viewing and worship.  Wayne Richmond is our A/V Tech and does an awesome job with projection, powerpoint, music, and audio/video recording.

Sunday Morning Worship

The 10:45 service is our Family Worship Service.  During this service the choir is on hand to lift our spirits and lead us in our hymns.  Children have the opportunity to learn the Word during Children’s Moments when they join Pastor Scott at the altar for some one-on-one time.   After Children’s Moments, children through grade 1 are dismissed to Children’s Church. We offer a fully staffed nursery during this service so that parents may enjoy their worship time, although children and infants are WELCOME in our sanctuary any time (we faithfully attempt to honor Christ’s words, “let the little children come unto me”).  The first Sunday of each month Holy Communion is observed.  In addition to bread, we offer gluten free, wheat free wafers for those with bread and wheat allergies.

The 10:45 service is a blended worship service of contemporary and traditional music.  We know that worship is not something that you can make people do, but we do try to accommodate all styles of worshipers so that the Holy Spirit may richly fill each of our guests and members.
