Each month a faithful group from Perry goes to the Raleigh Center and plays Bingo with the residents.
At the end of each game prizes are awarded to the winners. We are asking everyone to help with any donations you may have of the items below that of some of the resident’s favorite items to receive as prizes: Rings, Jewelry, Small Candy, Gum, Socks, Women’s Perfume, Men’s Cologne, Magnifiers, Lifesavers, Tic Tac, Certs, Breathsavers, Puzzles, Game Books.

Join Our Shepherd’s Table Team
I have been trying to work on this piece for the Peeper and until Sunday I wasn't sure what I was going to say. During Pastor Scott's Children's moments it came to me. He used the analogy of a baseball team and the different positions, pitcher, 1st base, etc. He made the point of how different people are good at different things but they all make a team and work together as one. Just as the church and it's congregation has many different talents but we all work together for God’s Church and its many ministries.
This is exactly how The Shepherd’s Table is able to meet some of the needs of the community. A meal prepared to feed hundreds is about more than cooking and serving. It is possible because of Perry's love for Jesus and their desire to do as He done, to go in-to the community and help those in need. We have those who pray, those who can help with finances or donate food, some that cook, serve, wash dishes, set up tables and those who will take the time to listen to someone who needs to talk about their struggles. It takes everyone working together as a team in the love of Jesus to make Shepherd’s Table possible. I thank God for each of you and your gifts.

Shepherd’s Table Free Community Meal

Shepherd’s Table dinners are free and open to the community the last Saturday each month. Food is prepared with loving hands in the Perry kitchen. All are welcome to sit down and enjoy a delicious meal. Perry folks are always available to sit and talk or pray with you.
Little-ones are invited to our book / toy table at Shepherd’s Table where they may choose one item each month to take home with them. On occasion we will also have persona hygiene items and school supplies for families.
As usual, doors of Perry are open on the last Saturday of each month for a good community meal. Come join us for food & fellowship. You are always welcome at Perry.
